In my categorizing the many different tools for twitter, I came up with a total of 5 different tool types. Below are listed the tool types and a short description on their use or uses and some twitter tips on using them

4. Twitter Clients - real great tools that makes your tweeting much easier and convenient. Gives you a wide range of features and controls that basically extends and enhances twitter’s use.

5. Time Savers/ Productivity Tools - these tools make your twitter experience much more productive through automation of some repetitive tasks. You could manage your tasks through these tools and have notifiers set-up. Some of these tools may even make you forget about using Google Calendar.

When my son got out of high school, the last thing he wanted to do was endure 4 more years of college. He has never been interested in doing anything other than being a mechanic, so he decided to get industrial training at a technical school close to where we live.

He finished the training and was working as a mechanic at an automobile dealership in just over a year. He was glad to be able to start working in his desired field so soon after high school. He does not regret not going to college at all, he is perfectly happy doing what he is doing.

I have always enjoyed working on computers, but until recently, I did not have the required training to do it for a living. One of my best friends finally convinced me to get some industrial training on pc repair.

I was very nervous about the possibility of being the oldest person in the class, but to my surprise, there were many older adults there. Silverlight was released in the last couple years from Microsoft as a technology to allow running .Net based applications on the web. This is accomplished via a browser plugin. Silverlight supports a subset of the full .net framework, but more importantly it also supports a subset of the XAML specification for user interface. Xaml is the xml based UI markup language used in other Microsoft .Net technologies, especially the Windows presentation foundation framework, aka WPF.

Although Silverlight still trails Adobe Flash in popularity, the technology is catching on rapidly. This is likely due to newer versions of the framework are being released which show maturing in the technology. Silverlight version 4 will be released within a couple months, and should be part of the upcoming visual studio 2010 release. Each silverlight version has shown marked improvement compared to the one prior to it.

After debating the issue for a couple of weeks, I eventually got both a desktop and a laptop computer. I needed some of the more advanced programs that only a desktop could handle but I also needed the mobility of a laptop. Luckily computers have been around long enough for it not to have been too expensive. And because I was buying two computers, the electronics store threw in a couple of the basic programs I would need for free. They also gave me a great deal on a printer. My husband is such a wonderful boss. I just wish that the people who work for him would realize that. He has paid for their mechanical training, given them vacation time whenever they wanted it, and supplied them with tools and a vehicle. Yet even after all of that, they still leave him as soon as he gets them trained and go to work for someone else.

Maybe it’s because the only people he has ever hired have been family members. It is a sad fact of life that people find it easier to take advantage of those close to them than to do the same to a stranger. The world puts a really high value on a college education.

I realize that getting a degree is a good thing, but I don’t think that it’s the only way to make a contribution to society. It’s not even the only way to make a good living. We need people with mechanical training just as much as we need those who have graduated from a university. 

Without them, we wouldn’t get very far. It is even possible to make plenty of money with only this type of training, without ever setting foot on campus. I wish more people would realize this and give these workers the credit that they deserve.  I am so thankful for my job. In a day when many people are getting laid off, my boss refuses to let a single person go. Instead, he enlists our help in finding ways to save money for the company. Often, we are able to think of really creative ideas to do just that.

That is not the only thing he has done for us, either. He has also paid for mechanical training for any of us who have wanted it. In return, all of us are loyal to him. We work as hard as we can to make the company successful, and most of us would never leave our jobs.

Turning wind energy into machine energy is the job of wind turbines.  These wind machines, sometimes called wind mills, have been in use since 200 BC. The wind turbines don’t produce pollution.  There is no concern about acid rain or greenhouse gases.  They are actually a form of solar energy and work the opposite of a fan.  Today’s turbines are either horizontal-axis or vertical-axis.  Depending on the size of the turbine and the speed of the wind through the rotor, turbines should generate from two hundred and fifty watts to five megawatts.  People like the idea of harnessing a free source such as the wind and produce clean energy for their homes.  They are even able to sell back (at a low price) the excess energy produced that they don’t use.

Many are interested in the wind turbines as they provide clean and efficient power.  This method of wind energy is abundant and has become the fastest growing source of energy.  You will soon read that the US is now on track to move twenty percent of our energy from the present day electricity to wind energy and expect to accomplish this in the next twenty years.  Many investers have been showing quite an interest as they can see the future profits.  It is a great investment and a great move to make for your family and your country.
