How to Set up Your Own Internet Café
We all dream of having our own business someday. It can either be an eatery, convenience store, secondhand bookshop or an internet café.
Setting up a business like an internet café is challenging. Once you have the location in place, you can start small by purchasing about 10 computers complete with accessories. Depending on how big your shop is, you can add more computers, if needed.
Mind you these are not just your regular computers; they need to be high spec computers, possibly with a decent video card and hard core processing unit. Kids, age 6 to 13 years old are addicted to the latest video games and I can assure you that they will be your first customer in the morning and will probably be the last to leave in the evening.
Aside from the computers, the next important component when you want to have an internet café business is the internet.
How to connect internet? Well, this is one problem you need not worry. You just need to approach your local internet service provider to give you the information you need. Ask about the speed and the bandwidth you require when you will be setting up an internet café with about 10 users.
Your provider will also demonstrate how to connect multiple computers to internet. It will also be better if you can hire a computer technician that can check on your computer once or twice a month. He should be able to update your computer anti-virus, check on your Windows update and repair any computers that have been infected by a virus, etc.
Once these are all in place, your internet café is ready to be opened.
