Twitter Tips - 5 Different Types Of Twitter Tools
Given that Twitter is greatly popular and that there are a great many websites that offer services or tools for Twitter, it would be of much help to list the different popular types of services offered for use in twitter.
In my categorizing the many different tools for twitter, I came up with a total of 5 different tool types. Below are listed the tool types and a short description on their use or uses and some twitter tips on using them
1. URL Shorteners - these are of critical use when it comes to tweeting for their very simple function of shortening links. Maximum of 140 characters for tweets mean every character counts in every tweet!
2. Contact Managment - these tools make it easy to browse through your contacts. Some of these tools could even notify you everytime your name is mentioned in a tweet.
3. For Blogging - these allow you to “pull in” tweets to your blog or blogs. May also make you able to update your twitter everytime you make a blog post.
4. Twitter Clients - real great tools that makes your tweeting much easier and convenient. Gives you a wide range of features and controls that basically extends and enhances twitter’s use.
5. Time Savers/ Productivity Tools - these tools make your twitter experience much more productive through automation of some repetitive tasks. You could manage your tasks through these tools and have notifiers set-up. Some of these tools may even make you forget about using Google Calendar.
